Statement
Basel, 10th February 2010
Recently, there have been various rumors about Uranio AG on the Internet and in other places. One of the essential allegations is that Uranio AG has lost its exploration licenses in Central Africa. We decidedly protest against this kind of defamatory statement and reserve the right to take legal steps.
In order to eliminate any uncertainty thereby caused, we hereby make the following announcement:
The Board of Uranio AG hereby states that the Central African licenses are in force and valid. The exploration work that has been initiated is being performed according to schedule and, with a view to the information we have obtained until now, there is no doubt as to value of the licenses.
To substantiate the present corrective statement, we hereby publish a letter by the Central African Ministry of Mining dated 14 January 2010 addressed to the licensee, who is wholly owned by Uranio AG.
We hope to have clarified the situation sufficiently with the present announcement and that the unsubstantiated suspicions have been done with once and for all.
Peter Goeggel, on behalf of the Board of Uranio AG
